Summary: Auction system, with several types of auctions supported based on open source portal solution Liferay. Provides Penny Auction, Highest/Lowest bid auction, Seat auction, View Price auction, etc. Allows a user to place goods for selling, biding on items.

Challenge: Create a multy-user auction website with different types of auctions to sell different items, chosen by administrator.

 
Solution: A Liferay portal was created with integrated payment and shipping services. System tracks statuses of items, provides multiple user roles, restriction regulation. Different types of auctions allows a user to find the best matching one.
