Rozdoum at Google Developers Day 2011Some time ago Rozdoum, as an experienced Android development company, took part in Google Developer Day - a short event involving the leading technical content on the Google platform and products of the teams that work on them. The web developer-focused event is organized annually by Google. It includes seminars focused on building of web and mobile apps. The event runs in different time in eight different places all over the world – Berlin, Moscow, Prague, Tokyo, Sydney, Tel-Aviv, San Paulo, Buenos Aires. The covered topics are: Android, Chrome, HTML5, Cloud and more.

For us, software engineering team, probably the most interesting were several topics:

The methods for increasing performance, usability and design improvement are magic and craft at the same time.

- High-performance graphics for Android ( by Sparky Rhode, Android Engineer)

Rozdoum at Google Developers Day 2011The Android framework offers you a wide range of options for delivering multiform graphics for users. The talk explores the options, including the 2D and 3D graphics capabilities available through Dalvik, Renderscript, and the use of NDK.

- Android Market for Developers (by Richard Hyndman, Senior Android Developer Advocate)

The topic covers latest developments, going deeply into methods of using Android Market to use new models of monetization, ensure optimal content, minimize piracy and maximize application visibility.
